Is Product Quality a real-life incentive for Corporations?

QA czars from across a myriad of industry, have had a salient moment within their career when one wonders, "does the company really care about the product quality level as much as me"? Let me answer the question that many of you may have going through your head right now.... Yes, it's an indisputable fact that QA professionals are paid to "care" about quality and to assure that it actually occurs...however, one department alone can rarely, if ever, conquer that battle (some battles are more substantial than others).

Is there a best personality fit for QA?

We all are aware, at least somewhat, about job and personality fit.  For those of us who have either stumbled into QA or deliberatly chosen it (still trying to figure that one out)...is there a good, better, and best personality fit for QA (better known as Testers)?  I happen to think so, and matter of fact I employ personality profiles whenever I can.  I know that most of the disciplines within QA, require that you are analytical and methodical...but, what about extroversion or responsive...must you really be a people person.  Thoughts?
